Reagan and “trickle down economics” ushered in the 80s and poured gasoline onto Wall Street, empowering a thousand Gordon Geckos to abandon the middle class workers in the name of greater profit.

Because the middle class will keep voting for the same people who fuck them over thinking that they’ll fuck over the poors instead. Jokes on them / us.

If a lifestyle isn’t possible for everyone, then it’s an unsustainable and violent privilege.

Most people in USA don’t realize how their privileged lifestyle is based on the exploitation of the planet and other people. The most mediocre of pale people will have an isolated mcmansion with a huge grass lawn and a few SUVs. TBH it’s disgusting. It won’t last and it shouldn’t.

    Also ban cars.

Fuck that 🐍, she did everything she could to keep Bernie Sanders from the nomination. All because she was promised a VP slot. She went so far as to call Sanders sexiest on an hot mic, during one of the debates. I will not forgive her. She is traitor to the progressive movement.

Her actions may be shit in that instance, but the video isn’t wrong. She predicted the collapse.

This generation needs to stop whining and start doing. You’re just going to have to buckle down and work hard for what you want. Get creative start a side gig. Maybe drug dealing, kidnapping, or even pet assignation. You have to get creative if you really want the dream. Don’t give up!

Uhhh… you shouldn’t be having an assignation with anyone’s pet… I’m pretty sure that’s frowned upon in most of the civilized world…

      assignation /ăs″ĭg-nā′shən/ noun

An appointment to meet in secret, especially between lovers. synonym: engagement.

Sorry, your typo made me chuckle… apologies for pointing it out.

There never was an American Dream because that’s a concept only constructed by and for the rich to take advantage of. The American Dream consists of doing so little while hundreds to thousands do the work for you. All you have to do is dress pretty, say words and oversee things at the comfort of some luxurious office and visit your five homes scattered across several states.

    You mean that American Dream?

I think the American Dream was that you could support a family and buy a house in a blue collar single income salary, while in other countries you would just strave to death. But 5 decades of “…close the door behind you” economics have made that impossible.
