For me the 1.2.0 does not work.

docker install, starting the container fails because of

cliparr  | 21:08:46.567 WRN cliparr·server·db Could not set filesystem permissions.                             cliparr  | 21:08:46.573 FTL cliparr·server·lifecycle 'unable to open database file'
cliparr exited with code 1 (restarting)

This is defaut install and the volume/database has not been tampered with.
V1.1.1 works.

I’ve had good notifications maybe 2,5 years ago? I don’t remember for how long. Nowadays the notifications are very unreliable (selfhosted, ntfy, any android app).

I’ve never done it before, but apparently I’m too stupid to do a PR. I forked the whole lw_selfhosted by clicking on the fork button on the wiki page, and somehow that does not include the wiki. You have probably better things to do so maybe we should just forget it. Anyway I did not have an interesting input.

It’s actually pretty advanced stuff already. I feel overwhelmed even though I already have experience self-hosting. I hope there is a chapter where I could participate, but it doesn’t look like it.

That’s not exactly correct. Actually the parliament voted on the request for urgent procedure (last Tuesday), so technically everyone who voted for the “urgent” procedure, voted for Chat Control V1.0.

And from what I could see, it was soc.dems, centers and conservatives who voted for that.

Keep that list near you, because the subject is gonna come back…

Extension of Chat Control V1.0

I’m not assuming their decisions are in good faith. I’m assuming they represent/belong to a party with guidelines and are voting publicly.

And it shows. The left and the greens have voted with consistency against. Just to many no-shows to make a difference, however there were no-shows from both sides.

But, the slight left, soc-dems, or however they are called, and center, has, with very little exceptions (which I salute), exclusively voted for it. And this is not according to my understanding of the guidelines but I suppose this is subject to interpretations.

Oh I know! But the gilets jaunes were not in a car. I think so far I’ve only heard of US shooting persons in car for no fucking reason.

We are talking about EU, not USA.

Remember that this is just about the extension in time of the already existing chat control V1.0. We have to continue fighting because there is a lot of potential for this to get worse.
