I think that fast charging is almost as damaging as full cycles.

Hell, I’m approaching a half-century, and I still don’t know what I want to do. :P
Mostly fell into what I’m doing now. Never would have guessed that this is my life, when I was younger.

Sorry, no suggestions here, but how did you capture the file?
Which gcam and XML are you using?

Its important to note that some models of Kobo are now fully repairable using parts from ifixit, down to motherboard and display.
I have one of those drives I pulled out of a Palm LifeDrive because it died.
Really really neat to see the platter inside, and neat tech, but the CF card that replaced it was so much faster.

Honestly, I haven’t used Kodi in a lot of years. There are add-ons for things like Netflix and YouTube, and I vaguely recall using those.
I found this, for example: https://howtomediacenter.com/en/install-netflix-kodi-addon/

If you can get a UI set up, like Kodi or something, I liked using my Flirc receiver on my htpc. You can use any IR remote, and completely map the buttons to functions. It was sweet.

I bought one a couple of months ago. I think it’s fantastic both for the size and the price. It’s a bit too small of a screen for my aging eyes, but otherwise it works great. I’m keeping it to or when I travel or other good use. Edit: the cameras are… OK. Nothing great, but serviceable. Gcam helps, Google for versions. Also, yes, you can root it. Also GSI flash works, but you lose functions. The battery charges super fast, given it’s size. It accepts like 10w charging current.

I can tell you that it works fine using T-Mobile. It picks up the same bands as my LG V60 (with 5g turned off). I can’t speak about any other carrier, though.
In that case I would seriously contact Google, and either completely reflash either factory Android or one of the ALTs available.
Where did you buy your phone? What kind of phone is it?

Jelly Star is rootable and there are GSI roms that will run. Just FYI.
Hasn’t that been said for like 30 years?

Now it’s just the Neighbor of the Beast
Fair enough. I’m using an OP12 myself. I still don’t buy into the “fast charge ok” bit, but I also know it’s parallel cells and such. I still charge overnight using a 5w charger. :)
