Is there any evidence this is happening at Ars Technica? They’re pretty transparent about their methods, and obviously tech-savvy. Just because it happened at Teen Vogue doesn’t mean it’s happening at Ars. Conde Nast publications seem to be run pretty independently. Take The New Yorker, their content remains amazing and seems fully independent.

Tbf, I didn’t read the article. But the title…
Say no more. Please

That’s why he was fired

This is way bigger than just Israel, most of the Gulf Arab states hate Iran and would love to see its government fall. They’ve been funnelling literally billions of dollars to the Trump family since just before he took office again. The Qataris, Emiratis, Bahrainis, and Saudis are all openly bribing Trump, and this attack is almost certainly at least partially, if not mostly, driven by their talks with Trump behind the scenes.

The pre-1950s focus was on entrance into “a new world of hope and communal solidarity”, whereas the post-Stonewall Riots overtone was an exit from the oppression of the closet.[15] This change in focus suggests that “coming out of the closet” is a mixed metaphor that joins “coming out” with the closet metaphor: an evolution of “skeleton in the closet” specifically referring to living a life of denial and secrecy by concealing one’s sexual orientation. The closet metaphor, in turn, is extended to the forces and pressures of heterosexist society and its institutions.

You’re just going around saying “correlation doesn’t equal causation” to everything regardless of context. Feel free to expound.
No, there definitely isn’t “a gene” for schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, just like there isn’t “a gene” for hair or eye color, two other traits that are highly heritable.
Here’s just one source for you on this, and there are many more if you care to take a look:

I’m not understanding your argument. What about this is correlation and not causation? The body of literature indicating cannabis negatively impacts the mental health of people prone to developing psychosis is pretty extensive, and this is measured against other people who are prone to developing psychosis but who do not use cannabis

Additionally, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder are both heritable conditions, and if a parent or grandparent has one of these diagnoses, the family is significantly more likely to also be experiencing poverty or other adverse events, which in turn makes it more likely that the predisposed child will develop the inherited condition.

More specifically, for someone who has a genetic predisposition to developing schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, cannabis use will make it more likely that you yourself will develop that condition. If you have someone in your family with schizophrenia or bipolar, you would do well to avoid cannabis use, especially as a teenager or young adult.

I think that’s a huge leap. Talarico’s positions are way left of the Democratic establishment, why would they be more “scared” of Crockett than him? He’s got Zionist groups actively campaigning against him because he’s forthright about the Gaza genocide. He’s setting his campaign up against the wealthy and openly criticizing the Democratic party’s subservience to wealthy donors. There just isn’t that much difference between their political positions, and I don’t get your angle.
Here’s a recent headline:
Texas Jewish voters alarmed by James Talarico’s Israel rhetoric
Local leaders said that, without improved outreach from Talarico to address their concerns, they’re likely to vote for Rep. Jasmine Crockett in the Democratic primary

I agree, though after listening to both of them a bunch, I’m supporting Talarico in this election. I hope to continue to see Crockett’s star rise though

You can still (and should) watch it on YouTube!

Afaik mail-in ballots were not the deciding factor in the 2020 election, which Trump lost handily. He was never ahead on election night, though that wouldn’t stop him from claiming it

Until very recently, Republicans had an edge in mail-in voting, however after Trump started deriding it, a not small number of Republican voters stopped using it.
Also skewing the numbers is that Democratic-led states largely allow everyone to vote by mail if they’d like, whereas Republican-led states strictly limit mail-in voting to people who meet certain criteria. This means that Democrats are overrepresented when you look at a national count. Oregon and Washington don’t even have in-person voting, only vote by mail. Republican-led states limiting mail-in voting predates Trump though, because they try to limit anything they can related to voting.

This has become the culture at many if not most large companies. Only the people who are willing to totally debase themselves and incessantly parrot the company line rise to the top, and that has an inverse relationship with talent.

On your birthday, you get to pick
LinkedIn is fine. I work in community-based healthcare and interact with a shit ton of people from other organizations, and having LinkedIn to look people up is incredibly useful. You don’t need to post on LinkedIn, or read the feed at all. For me, it’s purely a way to connect with other people I know. If someone does an internet search for your name, it’s also likely going to be the first hit, and can help prospective employers know who you are

What, you don’t like being manfluenced? Something off-putting to you about manfluence? What’s wrong with being a manfluencing manfluencer?
Where does that funding come from?
