If anyone actually knew WHEN it would crash they wouldn’t tell be saying anything and instead placing bets via the stock market.

The general consensus seems that people pay for the convenience, not having to cook or clean and not having to wait very long for it. Which is kind of crazy because that seems like such a luxury to me lol. Like a lite version of having a personal chef.
I wonder what the price point is where people will stop paying for the convince and just do it themselves because it costs too much. I would’ve thought most people reached that point but apparently not.
“People work in roles they don’t care about, for companies they have no investment in, to pay loans they shouldn’t have.”
That sounds like a fight club quote lol. I know you didn’t say “loans they shouldn’t have” but the cost of college is just stupidly high. It doesn’t have to be free but come on.
Maybe if our leaders created a society more conducive to having kids more people would have them.
Came here after the API bullshit. Takes a little getting used to but it scratches that same itch
Not “forever” but they should continue to work it seems. They will degrade and slowly stop working over time tho, no clue how long.
For real. At least the odds aren’t explicitly against you like casinos.
Lol that guy is crazy, probably has no clue just how expensive having a family is. Listed nothing factual at all, no statistics or avg/median prices, spending data, nothing. Probably regurgitating some fox news shit that if you have A/C and a fridge you’re better off than a 15th century peasant.
Hope they get the help they need.
What a horribly flawed opinion to have.
Thank you for posting this. I feel the same way but I’m not sure what to do about it :/ I already try to spend as little as possible. I’ve thought about trying to make a vegetable garden cuz in a way it’s free food but just haven’t :/
I wonder what will happen when they squeeze so hard nobody has anything left? How will they stay in business when nobody has money? Do they think every other company will go out of business but they’ll be fine? What do they think the end game will be?
Perfect! We’ve already seen what the world will do in response to a virus so we’re pretty much set
After WW2 almost every other developed nation was in ruin. The US was “the only game in town” when it came to production. This caused US labor to be in high demand and priced at a premium compared to places like in Europe or Japan, who were more concerned about rebuilding than exporting goods.
THIS is how a high school dropout could afford a house and a family. Because that high school dropout was basically your only option for labor. As those other countries finished rebuilding a lot manufacturing jobs left and things started to get “back to normal”.
The US was in a unique position but like most things it was just squandered. Now the US is “regressing towards the mean”. This is going to be the new normal because the last 40-50 years was an exception.
Gee I wonder if record high home prices/mortgages has something to do with record high debt payments.
For $120 a year the Kia boys can total your car anyway!
Gotta hit them with the “oh cool so let me see your phone and browsing history then”
It’s cozy here :)
I miss RiF sometimes :[
