We aren’t listening to material power, we have ideals about democracy and fairness, and we value discussion and conflict. Honestly I think that all of those are good and admirable things. I wouldn’t want to be friends with someone who didn’t genuinely want those.

I should point out that the closer you get to someone, the more you’re gonna argue with them. It’s just the rule of being social in the world. I go to work and my boss gets 1% of my personality. You guys, my partner, my IRL comrades, and my close mates get nearly 100%. Ya I’m not willing to call my boss a fascist to his face, but I wouldn’t spend an uncompensated moment of time with him. With people I love, I do occasionally call them out on shit because I want them to grow, and I expect the same from them.

Honestly I feel a bit uncomfortable seeing nudity in films. I think “he’s this person who’s half my age, so agreed to take her clothes off and be filmed because her job required it”.

I actually gave up getting Roblox to work on Linux. It had more issues than most games.

NGL, I play games off of Steam, which is easy mode. You can run the Windows game off of Proton, which is Valve’s program for Windows to Linux gaming. Did you try right clicking on the game in Library, going to Properties, then Compatibility tab, then choosing Proton. Almost always the newest version of Proton (8.0-3) will do the trick. Rarely the experimental version or an older version is better.

Adding “gamemoderun %command%” [without the speech marks] to the launch options usually improves performance.

There’s a bit of learning curve, but you can do it, comrade.

I’ve been using Mint OS for gaming and it’s been perfectly fine. I probably can’t play some burning edge, this year games, but everything else has been fine. And I’m free from Windows garbageware.
