  • and had a bad time under their rule

A fascist dictatorship being replaced with a communist one.

I’d like to hear more about this alternative history you got rolling around your skull where Finland became communist. I live in the reality where they joined nazis (as Stalin knew they would, which is why he had to move the border away from Leningrad), participated in starving a city to death and threw POWs into death camps, not the other way around. And then they turned around, seeing the writing on the wall, and avoided justice that way.

    And now they’re still nazis.

  • Freedom of what? Freedom from public healthcare? Freedom to harass minorities? Freedom to exploit the working class?

That reminds me of how the 90-s in Russia were once described on r/AskARussian. Freedom to kill, steal, think of what you’re gonna feed your kids tomorrow and freedom to attack border towns for certain FREEDOM fighters terrorists.

It is a frustratingly persistent illusion. Thanks, philosophical idealism. People are too caught up in thinking how they might have whatever if they just try hard enough to notice that the game is rigged and that the game presupposes someone is gonna get robbed. And that someone is most people.

  • I think that my country could grow immensely if it had more candidates that were presentable.

Do I smell electoralism? More importantly, that sounds like a great climate for color “revolutions” these days. I sure don’t want pro-western capital having any more voices in Duma than it already has. Also, UR itself has plenty of cucks that want to keep trading with the West already, and if it starts falling off, it’s better if other libs are still nowhere near power thanks to UR and CPRF is still number 2.

I think Russia should focus on healing the political landscape and introduce some competition between the parties

Not to the detriment of the war effort it shouldn’t. Also, see previous point.

  • Nice try (no), but shitlib and liberal propaganda aren’t buzzwords in this context, because you provided all the proof in the world. And there is no discussion to be had here, these liberal takes had been beaten to death here before you knew about lemmygrad.

You clearly don’t live in the real world if you think you can judge countries and their policies as if a country exists in a vacuum. And, again, knowing who owns your brain, I don’t intend to waste my time on explaining this, I’m sure you have some quality Syomin brand copium for why Putin is worse than a fascist military alliance that commits genocides and pluders half of the world.
