I’ve let it go about a dozen times now, still doesn’t take. Tried updating the system from desktop as well but no luck. I’d hate to factory reset it. I’ll sort it out and post back if I do. Thanks!

Anybody else have an issue installing this one where you go through the update process and are asked to reboot, but when you’re back in setting sit tells you the update is ready?
Vampire Survivors, the breakout hit game on so many platforms now, has a full DLC based on Contra. It’s still very much on the minds of everyone who loves this stuff.
But counter to your point Steam has done a ton of pro-consumer moves since then…?
Gabe has been a billionaire a while now. Like $9.5B net worth with a yacht collection.
I know exactly what you mean! I’ve been on i3 with every build at home for like a decade or something now and it’s easily the most productive environment I can be in. Rarely change things in my config between machines so I end up just slapping the same dotfiles in first thing and I feel like I’m home.
Does it still have issues with the Office suite? Like Excel just flat out dropping the ribbon and window decorations?
And if it annoys you enough it’s one line in your config to fix forever. I love i3 so much.
I had like 2 issues that took literal minutes to fix over the years I ran Manjaro, I know there were some silly misconfigurations years ago but I never paid much attention then the hate and it ran all my stuff just fine. 🤷♂️
Built a new rig a few weeks ago and decided to check out EndeavorOS, but would have stuck with that Manjaro install for a while if I hadn’t.
To be fair to manufacturers for once here, this kind of this is usually due to users not properly securing these systems. The industry is still way behind on proper infosec but they’ve come a long way the last 10 years or so.
Yeah pretty sure I installed the experimental branch from the AUR. I just didn’t want the repo to be poisoned or something. 🤷♂️
Thanks for the info!
I’m planning to just Google my way out of this, but what’s the cleanest way to block the repo I’ve been using in yay from updates without uninstalling the version I’ve got running already?
I guess it cuts the attack surface profile down a bit?
I keep meaning to set up timemachine but just roll the dice every few weeks. I think it bit me once and it was only for the weirdo wifi driver I needed and installed the lazy way.
The blog is probably smart to check if you see anything weird in pamac but otherwise I’ve either been very lucky or things have been pretty stable.
Yo dawg got this minigun Prius mount handy? For a friend.
They’ve been in development like 3 years now, I wouldn’t call it a cash grab.
My buddies and I have been enjoying VintageStory for a while now.
I learned this one very early on in my career as a physical security engineer working with access control databases. You only do it to one customer ever. 🤷♂️
I feel like this supporting Windows servers and navigating Win 11/12 clients at work these days.
