Hell, Telegram has been used by the US’ various regime-change lackeys. Not that the “newspaper” cum rags of empire would ever mention that bit.
Comes to mind actually, some of those white supremacist terrorists also fall under part of that category (Banderites and the Euromaidan). When they talk about Telegram being a “playground for criminals/extremists/terrorists”- honestly I imagine most (if not all- where there’s organized crime, extremism, and terrorism, 99.99% of the time there’s Yankees involved… the other 0.01% of the time you’re not looking hard enough) of them are connected to the US’ purse strings in one way or another lol
Gonna admit, I somehow completely overlooked the dildos (not that I’ve anything against it either). That said, yeah, it is marked as “adult only” (not sure if it is a porno game or not though, I’ll have to play through to see but it seems more focused on the VN side of things and from the reviews I assume if there is adult content it’s not the primary focus of the game).
As for whoever thought of making it- hell if I know, but as they don’t seem to be a chud about it (from a brief view, anyways- it was recced by a LGBT curator I follow, the comments don’t seem to be lib shit) I can only see it as a positive.
It probably also gives me my own ideas for actual Stal-chan based games, which I’d admittedly not considered before. I probably wouldn’t turn him into a blond anime girl (because Stalin as is is already peak kawaii) and it probably wouldn’t be a VN if I did anything, though…
For the DS, some that come to mind which haven’t yet been mentioned (and which aren’t available elsewhere):
Solatorobo, Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime, Monster Racers, Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon (available on PC but they removed the pop-up card game, heresy) 😖
As for some other DS games that honestly probably have better alternatives, but that I also have fond memories of-
Phantasy Star Zero (a big part of my childhood, playing multi- all pirated of course- with my sibs), Ragnarok DS (Ragnarok Online but DS), Atelier Annie, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
For the 3DS:
Ever Oasis, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux (updated port of the DS game, very similar to Etrian Odyssey mentioned in this thread- and great), Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked and Devil Survivor 2 (SMT formula, but with grid-based tactics), 7th Dragon III
(edit) also forgot-
For the DS: Dragon Quest IX, Infinite Space, the Tales games that are on the DS (they have fanmade English patches, those that aren’t released outside Japan…), Sands of Destruction.
Lately (or for a long while now) I’ve been mainly playing gachas, so there’s hesitance to reccomend them no matter how great they are (if you’re still curious though; Reverse 1999 and Honkai: Star Rail are the ones I’d probs recommend most). And others have mostly mentioned titles I liked, and then there are the well-known names that feel a bit too obvious to recommend… (Hollow Knight, Hades, and Monster Hunter: World as some choice ones if you’re asking though)
If you want a neat little game with platforming and where you control spiders, though, Webbed is a fun one. Peglin is also a neat pachinko-roguelike game. Astral Ascent is also great (roguelike platformer). And Ooblets (farming-Pokemonlike nonviolent cozy game) is also amazing.
Also, since it came to mind recently when thinking on
grief-
if kinetic VNs (ie. no choices involved) are your thing, Seabed is great.
Incredibly based, cheers comrade
Well, let’s wait and see which fails first- this power plant once it starts up, or your shithole genocide-reich of a country :D
Fingers crossed, maybe in a few years you won’t even have the internet access to spew your garbage anymore.
Gonna pull a Sikorsky here and say- thank you USA! All this is ensuring is that Europe and ultimately the west will be de-industrialized, and end of the day China will have all the chips (literally and metaphorically) and the west will have none.
Imagine the money that went into consulting about these anti-homeless measures*, designing them*, going through the processes of manufacturing and installing them, and disposing of the perfectly usable and superior benches afterwards.
*(not actually difficult, but it’s capitalism, we all know whatever was responsible for this was grifting on the side)
Next up- an add-on accessory to the Core77, an accompanying back-brace with armpit and chin supports…
I think Biden is the accelerationist candidate, but he’s a little too good at it (it being- destroying the empire and potentially the whole world in the process).
I don’t support accelerationism regardless, but Biden is basically leading the whole west goose-stepping in their crusade against Russia, China, Palestine, Iran, and the multipolar efforts of the entire global south. The extent of his constant escalations abroad is horrifying and I can only expect them to get worse- meanwhile, domestically he’s no slouch in further destroying the living standards and material conditions/foundations the empire was built upon, and (arguably) serving better to tear at the fabric of the imperial cores’ societies than Trump ever could have (good riddance in that regard, fingers crossed, maybe the US will implode from within rather than explode from without and take the rest of humanity with it).
Frankly- Trump is a horrifying, nasty, murderous SOB- but that’s par for the course with western and particularly US leaders. I consider Biden and the neocon establishment that has reached its zenith across the west behind him an infinitely more worriesome beast, however- frankly, other than in domestic pseudo-progressive policy (which even then Biden is lukewarm on- and the horrors he supports abroad, from Banderites to Zionists obviously make him far more than a net negative in this regard as well) I consider Biden to be more corrupt, more unhinged, more destructive, a more effective herald for fascism across the west and within the US itself, and more dangerous than Trump in every other metric by a long shot.
Considering the Automatons’ makers (the totally-not-space-Soviet Cyborgs of Helldivers 1) are canonically all now enslaved and locked up in the mines of Cyberstan… yes, the Automatons are 110% justified.
Relatable, honestly FOMO (whether in Genshin or elsewhere) is a pain to deal with. Most of the Genshin experience will stick around for when you return no doubt, though- at least that’s the pleasant thing about it being mostly single player (even if live service/gacha/etc).
Mainly I just play my Genshin/Honkai Star Rail/Reverse 1999 dailies. Between the 3 (auto-battle modes for HSR/Rev1999 are a timesaver) I guess I haven’t played much else in a while- My Time at Sandrock and some For the King 2 last month, I guess.
For fave video game genres- farming sims (think Stardew Valley), sandbox games and soulslikes/monster-hunter-likes, though I play anything. My favorite series is definitely Monster Hunter.
As for the game I completed most recently… probably Remnant 2 last year… my thoughts are I recommend it, though I probably won’t play it again till the next expansion whenever that is.
If anything, they’re to blame for the deprivation, waste, and pollution of freshwater in many regions. Even just in the imperial core- the US- there are countless examples of this, not to mention the well-documented, inhumane artificial droughts and water monopolization imposed on northern Mexico by a series of American dams and canals.
I think it matters in the sense that it shows how quickly SMIC is not only recovering, but building itself anew and better, without the prior liabilities of various western dependencies. It shows the triumph of the Chinese system and human ingenuity and resolve, against western attempts at monopolizing said industries and blatantly sabotaging Chinese development- and I imagine it’s an example that is catching the attention of many global south and eastern countries- particularly India and Russia, the two countries best poised to follow in China’s lead in the decades to come (or years if we’re very optimistic).
That said, even if it were financially in the red, the development and production is what really matters most. Everything else is just added benefits in contrast to the above.
For smart brushes in particular- no way they’re not spying the hell out of their customers. Just like smart TVs, smart home setups, etc.
To my understanding it’s that the game looks like complete ass (even compared to other DC games released a decade or more ago) and is probably a prime example of everything wrong with AAA games these days. Hell if I know if there’s any “culture war” shenanigans over this (probably? I haven’t watched any videos about it or read anything, though I’ve seen it mildly mentioned) but from an outsider’s view about it… it just doesn’t look appealing, at all.
Personally I can’t really bring myself to care, because I don’t play such games (most western AAAs) anymore, nowadays. Without outrage, who would even be talking about a game like this anyways? To me it’s like people fighting over their opinions of a turd on the sidewalk at this point. I get why- these people still care about the franchises, they still have hopium for all these studios and whatnot going strong for… some reason? And they probably spent 90$ for the turd on the sidewalk and now feel like dupes.
I was raised considerably into a lot of the hallmarks of nerd culture myself, but I’ve long let go of these franchises. If a good game or show comes out I’ll try it eventually, maybe (or have it on the backlog anyways). I get the frustration (if it happened to Monster Hunter or something I’d be pretty upset) but I suppose luckily for me, these games and western franchises in particular were never “it” for me.
Interesting; I hadn’t been aware it delved into that. While I’d not call myself a law nerd it does get me more interested yet. Maybe I’ll try it later today- I think I already have it installed anyways.
Goals tbh
