I set up Lubuntu for my mom on an old laptop because it couldn’t handle mint. She liked that it felt new and familiar enough, but she didn’t love it enough to not go back to Windows when she got newer more powerful laptop.

Fair. But “Lukewarm take” just doesn’t have the same punch.

I use Void Linux. I switched from Arch btw because I liked their package manager, was curious about their init system runit, and still wanted a rolling release. I’ve used it for a little over a year now and overall I’ve been happy.

Leaning into the “porn” part of unixporn, we could say we"fluffed" our setup. Because like fluffers, we’re making things bigger an more attractive to show off.
