God damn. It’s not often something online can make me laugh so hard I nearly fall off my couch sober. My only regret is that I have but one upvote to give.

Spoken like a person who doesn’t even know how to get their kid unlimited money. You’re just mad that you can’t marry that perfect ball of plastic surgery and hatred.
Maybe that’s his plan. He doesn’t like the prenup and wants to marry that ghoul Loomer so he’s doing this to get her deported and the marriage annulled. Then he’ll use government money to put on a huge wedding and try to have a baby immediately. Everyone knows if you’re president when you have a kid the government is on the hook for support. Unlimited money!!!
It’s 12-D chess!!!1!
Learned skill. I spend a lot of time drunk and Android tends to do a pretty good job of guessing what I’m swiping.
I also tend to reread what I wrote when I’m drunk. I actually generally do a worse job sober because I won’t double check my work.
And it was signage displays for the dumb TVs I was thinking of, and Sharp TVs used to have unsecured wireless networks that you couldn’t really turn off, so they’d make a mesh with other smart TVs. I believe I’ve heard the same thing about Samsung as well.
Now it’s time to go jog myself sick.
Sceptre is cheapo stuff. And at least one brand of smart TV is wardriving to find networks behind your back (again, drunk, I can’t remember which right now) and creating mesh networks with other TVs of the same type.
Sceptre has some dumb TVs. You can also still get the display TVs that companies use. I’m drunk so I forget what they’re called.
people struggle with the concept of federation and picking a server
This is a HUGE reason. I didn’t know when I first signed up for Lemmy that I was on what is essentially a tankie instance. I didn’t know when I signed up for Pixelfed that I wasn’t going to be able to see shit because the first server I signed up for wasn’t really federated with anyone and I’ve mostly given up on it. I still can’t see a bunch of stuff on Mastodon without switching through several accounts with no rhyme or reason.
I’ve said before that I obviously like it here because I’m using the services, but it’s not easy. Most people don’t know about the fediverse, and most of those that do want to be passive about maintaining their social media. Most of the fediverse is built for nerds.
Been using Thunderbird for almost 20 years. It was good enough that long ago and it’s pretty awesome these days.
I prefer the TI-99/4a, but I like your pick too.
I already voted so I can’t vote for him either.
I stopped in today after months because my friend is launching a game and I wanted to give them a like and a comment. When I left Twitter my feed was just nerd shit and makers.
When I logged in today it was several right wing advertisements at the top. When I went to search it was more Trump shit. I just wanted to support my indie friend. That’s it for me.
Combat and Gorf are amazing. I may feel that way about Combat because it was the first one I remember playing. However, Gorf is like three games in one so you got a lot of bang for your buck in playtime.
I’ve had DataTraveller sticks since the late 90s/early 00s. Never given me a problem.
This is what I looked like back when I jammed with the console cowboys in cyberspace.
I shot a message to a colleague who is still in IT (I’m into other shit these days) and he says you’re correct. IOS doesn’t allow for this. The IT department running Mobile Device Management would have to set up Mobile App Management (MAM) on their side. So it’s possible that they only get access to those apps without giving them access to the whole device but a lot of lazy departments won’t do it.
I get it, and I don’t blame anyone for that choice. I made mine based on utility, convenience, and knowledge of the tool for me. I don’t care how convenient it makes things for work. They’ll give me a phone if it’s that convenient for them. But I’m not qualified to make that decision for anyone else.
Because they can only see, install, or wipe things inside the work profile. It’s all sandboxed.
Quick edit: This is for Android. I have no idea about iPhones.
Or work profiles on BYODs
I really don’t mind these days as long as they have a MDM so I can have it on a separate profile, but without that I’m totally with you.
Color me shocked. I worked for an upstream oil company that did the same thing because they knew there would be lawsuits (there always are). They also know that in discovery they’re searching for certain key words and can guess what a lot of them are.
