gmail and outlook and yahoo just silently drop my emails so I don’t even get the courtesy of a notification, and it’s almost impossible to get it appealed. The server issues will be fixed with time, reddit used to crash all the time.

Sorry, the one downside of quick updates is I can respond very quickly before the edit is done / sent through hah.
I think pact testing means contract testing, basically a test that asserts an agreement between two things (microservice, backend, frontend, etc)
I have never actually managed to get it integrated, but I have always pushed for contract testing that’s maintained by both sides of the contract. This has the benefit of being able to create compatibility matrixes between services at the very least
i could live with this tbh
I am not sure I agree entirely with this, while I do think there should be third party clients, we have entered the age where allowing API access is giving free reign to very valuable LLMs to train on your data, which also IMO violates your users privacy. I think it’s better to have it be gratis but not libre, perhaps some kind of app approval process or some such.
What is readhacker.news? Why not just use the news.ycombinator link anyway
I got this one for “free” via PSN and it was okay, not really my thing (even though I like roguelikes, I didn’t like this)
discord alternative changed their username system to be the old discord situation? lmao gettem

I found dicey dungeons to be good, and fights in tight spaces is okay, but probably a bit mid.
Been playing BOTW but also XCOM 2 and the roguelike deckbuilders bundle from Humble Bundle recently. Loving the steamdeck so much.
You can disapate heat into the metal chassis without a fan, and if your CPU only generates a few watts, even at 100% this doesn’t cause it to overheat. This has been done with desktops that are.much more powerful, but it’s also been done on the new M2 MacBook air, because the m2 CPU is quite efficient. It doesn’t overheat because the case passively dissapates heat fast enough. It’s also not a performance laptop.
