just because it’s OSS doesn’t make it good. The corp still hold all the power and might sell out, but at least they got free volunteers to program for them so the C-level could get more money!
(now don’t tell me that Bluesky is “federated”. They still hold all the power over site rules and moderation. The only little concession you get is that you are allowed to host your own data)

Antennapod has the same function and many more, and is free(as in beer and freedom)/libre
I can rly recommend it since it doesn’t lock features behind a paywall and respects your privacy
That’s what the work profile on your personal phone is for, so you can turn it off when you’re off the clock (or rather if you don’t get paid to be alert)

It will stop being free the second a corporation gets it’s hands on it, makes improvements and put’s those under a proprietary license
I’ve taken up saying “temporarily free/libre” and “permanently free/libre” instead of the permissive/copyleft, since imo “permissive” has a suggestive positive connotation. Especially to ppl who do not know much about the free software movement
