Sure Tim, I rise as soon I get feed. Economy can easily survive with the rising prices on millionaries like you who can pay.
You can open a project in C++ to create the structure of a custom game. You put one child to work on blender or pixelart software, and another child to compile variables and functions. If you have more than two children, you can also consider assigning a third to animation and a fourth to creating music and sounds.
Whatever alternative you’re offered, I don’t think it’s worth spending more than $50 on an emulator console. (This is the maximum make sense price for any hardware that can emulate old consoles up to PS3).
This is a good reminder, but history will repeat itself because greedy 1% never care even for a second to what happen to the normal people and in our everyday more liberal and capitalism world they will always feast happily while people even dies. Tax the rich is always a good motto but still in 30 years I dont see changes, only richs become richest in a poorest slaves society.
I agree, it’s not the war that’s raising all the prices. It’s always greed. In the Middle Ages it was for lands and castles. Today it’s for nations and billionaire industries. But the bubble is about to burst, when the average citizen can no longer afford the cost of a house, the gasoline for the car, and all those things that should be free, like education and health, then we’re going back to the Middle Ages without rules and wild.
Well yes there are many 10$ good indie games but mostly are an hour experience. So still an expansive way to gaming that only millionaire streamers can enjoy. Should be exist a minimum longevity for games to exist and most indie fail on this.
Even 500$ gpu, without taking into account the price of the other components, easly a 1000$ pc. And if you’re playing on console then insane subscriptions. Recently the price increases for playstation. Gaming era is over, it’s not the golden age at all.
Even sooner that microtransaction. With expansion packs for me. They understand that there is no need to sell you a full game and they can make you pay +60$ for everything called an “expansion”.
Many believe it’s the golden age of gaming. All bullshit, we’re at the end of the gaming, where games cost $100 with more 50$ subscription fees. It’s all over.
End of the road, paying your employees has become optional, and laws and state approves.
Yes you are right, it is very limited.
Thanks for reply. Yes I actually feel very frustraded with the process, not having the control need it inside Godot and be forced to using outside software is annoy, and it is also the refresh imports process that sometimes can become messy and buggy. Still believe in doing something exclusive on Godot, making a skeletron3D, animations with 3Dbones nodes scripted in the animationplayer with somehow apply a functional mesh and import only meshes to the project.
Even worst, if I click a couple of times my app crash.
So far seems that when you need a new animation you can’t add it at pre existing library. And new animation need as well to be converted as library to work with the skeletron.
I think people care about information are so little. Taking your example I see someone who don’t really looking for the precise information but mostly to get in touch with something or someone. This happen even in real life when the granny ask the recipe for the apple pie to another granny. Do you really think that recipe matter? It a trivial human nature that want to share without care to get back the perfect recipe, even better if the wrong one because it become more useful as experience for a human try and fail, feeling to have do something, or learn, without istruction, make the granny proud of a special apple pie. What you wish is out of human legacy, it belongs only to IA to collect and use.
Corporation actually make their decision on how players approach the videogames, this greed is accept and even need it by exactly this kind of consideration about making game relativity easy. Competition isn’t the only enemy as mine opinion, it’s this approach to gaming that makes everyone want to win easy and fast because “it is fun” till the next game, because games dies in weeks, even days, after realise. The best game of this lastest years was Elder ring, not an easy game but still love by all. People are hypocrites who cries about having bad games and when you ask them what they want you realize that actually they wanna the bad garbage they deserve. I’m sure what a good game needs for be fun, and its the challenge, something we will never find by keep accepting trash or telling others to be gate keeping of stuff, that mean never understand what actually a gate is, looking for quality dies on this and always will.
Twentyfive years ago exactly when most of the game have stopped to be competitive. Now go to work grown man that loot boxes don’t pay by itself.

There are not many because Godot continues to change version , so the creators who are employed in 3.0, 3.5 feel frustrated to pass for 4.0, and it will be the same for 4.5, 5.0. The continuous change does not allow to create stable guides with time.
