you people would have opposed the train rail back in the day because it was against god’s will.

hey, thanks a lot that you liked it! do you mean having cantonese instead of the kanji widget or as a language for the extension? i also been working on it and making it a self hosted app which should make things a bit faster and what not, although it requires installation. this version should have a few more niceties like being able to do crazier setups and stuff. this is how it currently looks:

when is a good idea to recompile to webassembly? i mean as far as i know it sounds like the best way to be more efficient, but i also think if it might be over engineering it a bit. i think this makes sense, tho, emulation is resource heavy.

hey south korea hows it going?

prolly pihole

jesus christ, people complain they use ai even if they fixes are done by humans. stop whining. you talk like if you’ve ever touched the linux code.

i actually been trying a few productivity apps or whatever and i kind of have issues with how they handle your stuff. this approach is really nice, since it encompasses a lot of stuff so i really like it. i’m going to try it out better to understand the ux a bit more and how everything works. thanks a lot!

i’ve seen go web apps be way more memory efficient than some python native apps. but i’d agree using javascript and probably csr is not very nice.

what happens when these companies are seized by the people? you are opposing a company, that’s fine, but another thing is opposing the technology, built by workers and expropriated by the bourgeoisie. who owned the rail companies? what kind of people pushed for rail infrastructure?

one day techonology will advance and it will not require vast ammounts of water, energy to run these things, they will be owned and trained by the people. what will be your opposition to it then? you’re literally getting butthurt over a calculator bro, take it easy.

ahh, i didnt know that fact!

really weird they chose nixos although a very solid decent choice for government computers

sure

the project is going to receive ai generated issues/PRs one way or the other, i think this could help maintainers deal with that without being such a burden.

i was downvoted recently because i said the ai issue is not about copyright, but labour. a lot of people parrot what seem nintendo talking points just because of ai but the issue is not that they used content without attribution, but about the expropriation of labour this is connected with. deepseek also infringed copyrights to train their models, but theirs is open source, so that labour theft becomes released to the masses. on the other side, western companies infringe copyrights and lock their software.

sadly for music it’s not as easy as with other media, but this https://github.com/sentriz/wrtag tool is the best we’ve got so far. it’s a cli, though, unsure how comfortable you’re with that. essentially it adds metadata from musicbrainz.

as a pirate, i shit on copyright, culture should be free. the issue with llm is not that they used copyrighted shit, if the llm would be open source and not owned by a corpo, i’d be contributing to knowledge. here, you’re just contributing to some gringo westoid billionaire’s pockets. everything is a remix, i dont have an issue with that. so again, the issue is labour theft in marxists terms.

whats wrong is not copyright theft. whats wrong is labour that was stolen.

i love how anti ai people have become the wardens of copyright somehow.

i get ya, but also a lot of people don’t have a dedicated self hosted setup. recently my hdd died and all my films were there, so now i’m downloading and deleting, which just feels like a drag to start bazarr for one film. this is handy for some people.

tauri is better and more efficient for this.
