Persona is a sore subject for me because they ruined the original North American localization.
“So when you finish a random encounter, you can gain experience, or harvest souls!”
“Polling says Americans don’t like random encounters.”
“Oh, that’s easy to fix, reduce random encounters 50%”
Which made it so you either couldn’t get enough experience or harvest enough souls. :(
They also removed the Snow Queen quest for some reason:
Seriously though, in W11 it’s super easy to disable this shit.
Start Menu:
Personalization > Start > “Show recommendations for tips, app promotions, and more.” (OFF)
Lock Screen:
Personalization > Lock Screen > Change from “Weather ‘and more’” to “None”.
Search:
Settings > Search > Permissions & History > Turn it ALL off. Cloud, Work/School, etc.

One of the better JRPGs ever done.
Follow up Lunar 1+2 with Suikoden 1+2, then Golden Sun 1+2.
(Optional) Phantasy Star 1-4.
After that, you really don’t need to play any other JRPG.
Looks like that’s already mostly covered:
Worth noting that ICE feels they can operate without compunction within 100 miles of “the border”.
p.s. They consider “the coastline” to also be “the border”.

I saw a TMobile ad the other night offering 4 “free” iPhones and I’m like… “WTF do I need 3 extra phones for? Just give me a fair deal on ONE phone.”
Set up an Apple account using the company info, not yours. Problem solved.
Really looks like what we have here is a case of the zeitgeist.

The Wii was a console system for people who were unaware of or didn’t like console systems.
So if you’re in that co-hort, or an active Nintendo fan… yeah, it’s a great console.
It says a lot that the best selling titles on it largely came with extra plastic bits that are likely collecting dust now.
Full disclosure, I own a Wii, it’s hooked up and running and everything. Other than occasionally showing off the absolute insanity that is Muscle March, I really can’t think of any game on it I’d still play.
You mean like… buying ammo online?
I often see goods where the box has one side printed in English and the other side in Spanish.
Books are a little different because of the shared* language.
*except Québec.
Yeah, Clickbait has no place anywhere, even if the article itself is fine…
I swear to god the next time I see “side hustle” in my Google News feed…
One suggestion I’d like to see as a differentiator from the Science subreddit… The subreddit really seemed humorless to a degree where it felt like the mods were joyless scholars with giant sticks in a really uncomfortable place (What? Like the back of a Volkswagen?)
I get the need for standards on post quality, I just hope there isn’t a heavy hand on comment quality.
I mean, they extended the warranty and offered replacements for damaged chips… what else more could they have done? 🤔
Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time…
A long time…
My wife says “My first husband, and he died 25 years ago…”
