Yeah I agree that can’t keep him locked up, but could they jail him, because honestly that isn’t nothing. Obviously it’s career suicide for anyone involved but you know.

Could it be that it’s using less power as it charges? ie automatically shuts off power hungry features while charging?
Good data is so hard to get.
What I’d actually care about is how many minutes of usage does 30 minutes of charging get me in both standard and ekeing out as much life as I can mode.
I think its like any other utility (water or electricity or methane) except that you pay for the generation separately. So imagine that for electricity you pay a service fee to the grid operator to keep your connection capable of a certain amperage, and you separately pay the hydroelectric dam for the power you use.
ISPs are the grid operator saying, yes you pay for 200 amp service but you’ve already bought enough power this month. Don’t run your AC for the rest of the month.
My first thought was a mixture of wax, Sand and aluminum shavings. But wax isn’t that inert
Yeah that sounds like what was explained to me
I needed to upgrade my modem because the isp capped the speed of docsis 3.0 modems to like 75Mbps. I remember being quite upset because I was previously getting 125Mbps service on the same modem. I seem to recall there was a quasi legit technical reason for it though.
It’s not, but it seems Argentina doesn’t think people should be allowed to own their phones.
THPS 1+2 (the HD remake) is excellent but they decided not to do a THPS3+4 remake. Presumably due to low numbers. BUT online is broken. What I mean by broken is that you basically can’t log in to the server if your console is connected to the internet through a router. As far as I know Activision never acknowledged that failure. Do you think this problem might have hurt sales/microtransaction revenue?
Yeah I get that there isn’t much direct evidence of Jesus. But when you say “Saul had his own thing going on, which wasn’t entirely popular” aren’t you referring to his persecution of Christians?
I thought my question was pretty simple: if Jesus didn’t exist, where did the early Christians (that Saul was persecuting) come from?
We have letters from Paul, because he sent them to other Christian communities. Where did those communities come from?
My question was in regard to the part of the comment:
{The Birth of Jesus} …if it happened at all, which is up for debate…
I’m always intrigued by this sort of hypothesis, can you recommend a good link to an alternative explanation for the early church?
Like I get that early Christians worked in a lot (LOT) of existing mythology to make Christianity palatable/ relatable to various local groups. But where could the early Christians have come from if not a Jesus like figure?
I see 3 groups in this picture.
Pro-equity is the only moderate position.
As a person that actually torrented a Linux iso on Friday, thank you! Lol
Ha guess why I’m on lemmy right now.
I live in Vancouver but didn’t grow up here. I know of the 88->HH dog whistle, and um 14 words or something like that but are there any others I ought to keep my kids away from?
Lol, yeah they’ve just learned to pretend to be too avoid being everyone’s tech support.
It’s why I tell everyone to get a mac: I don’t know anything about them.
Okay, I think $80 Canadian for a case, psu, mobo, cpu, & ram is sounding pretty reasonable. I just don’t know of its enough processing power for the video stuff. But I guess if not I can upgrade the mobo/cpu or add a graphics card.
Thanks, that channel looks great.
Re offsite backup: Yes I don’t have so many family photos that it will be difficult/ expensive to store online. But I need to get them together first.
I don’t have a computer with a bluray drive, only laptops.
I have had issues with the wifi on mine. Frequently losing connection and having to restart the network adapter or reboot entirely.
Adjusting the wifi to avoid 802.11ax seems to have resolved the issue.
I just want to point out that declaring a state of emergency to “deal with” illegal immigrants will allow the construction of large camps all over the country where undesirables can be ‘concentrated’ for ‘processing’.
After rounding up illegal immigrants, maybe they’ll invalidate the status of legal immigrants that knowingly employed, illegal immigrants. Or housed illegal immigrants. Or defended illegal immigrants. Of course these people will need to be detained in the same camps while it all gets processed.
The condition of the camps won’t be great, maybe the detainees can work in specially approved facilities while immigration status gets processed, this will help alleviate the cost of camp maintenance and improve living conditions.
Maybe the detainees can be rented out to local plantations to subsidize the cost of feeding them.
