great to watch & fall asleep to
it’s homelessness - intentional or not. there’s a lot of factors at play. some folks like to blame landlords but the way I figure it, if you live in an area that you cant afford you’ll eventually end up sleeping in a car outside of a gym - or on a slab of cardboard in an alley.
you have to remember too that some people choose to live that sort of lifestyle - like retirees who tour the country in RV’s, they’re just not in an RV yet.
twitter was overvalued. reddit has made a lot of questionable business decisions over the last decade or so but their recent API change will be their death knell. it feel like a cash grab. I personally only use Twitch to watch Bob Ross reruns :P
I remember trying to wrap my head around it close to 20 years ago back in tech school & while i know IPv6 is used out in the real world at the ISP/backbone level, every corporation I’ve ever worked for uses a class A IPv4 network internally (and maybe a few class D’s too). every network I’ve ever used at home is class C IPv4.
IPv6 is some nebulous thing that exists but I’ve never needed to do anything with it…
