– Since US has already supplied Ukraine with cluster munitions (which are multiple times ‘effective’ than regular shells according to ‘experts’) how are they faring in the actual battles and what are the responses from Russia in the battlefield?
– Wagner has been moved to Belarus for sometime now. Any news and updates on what are they up to? What’s the game plan here? I’ve watched a video recently where they (most probably) are stripping off their Russian passport and flags etc. [Source of that video]
– The Ukrainians are more openly terror attacking on Russian infrastructure deep inside Russia. (Recent attacks on Moscow) How do you see Russia responding to such escalations?
– Finally What do you see as the Russian endgame for the SMO in Ukraine? Any clue on how long it’s going to go like that?
You don’t need to answer all of the questions (in any manner). Just share your thoughts.
I just try to read as diverse a range of things as I can. There’s so much propaganda around this particular war that I feel like I have to read everything to get even a rough estimate of the truth.
When it comes to battlefield updates I honestly just look on YouTube. There are various YouTube channels taking the latest videos from official military channels and telegram groups, putting them together and putting their own slant or analysis on them. Military summary if you’ve heard of it puts out like two videos per day, but the host in my opinion is prone to dramatic leaps and outlandish analysis.
I wish I had a better answer
What’s interesting is that western, anti-Russian press isn’t necessarily lying about the war. They’re just hiding the truth behind a narrative and sometimes behind a headline. It’s possible to piece together the factual details and ignore the narrative, as it seems as you have done. I’ve also come to similar conclusions as you have.
I’d agree with this. We’re not exactly coming down with non-western, non-liberal or non-conservative press written in English. I mean, there are left leaning news organisations like the morning star in England or wsws.org but they’re tiny in comparison with the multitude of big multi billion news agencies , so the best thing to do is apply a bit of common sense to the deluge of biased reporting out there
