  • That’s a really nice project, I often thought of trying to do my own board to move project from breadboard to something permanent, and never got the motivation high enough to do it. So congratulations on your realization.

I must add, as a certified ipc-610 trainer that board gives me goose bumps, the Halloween kinds. (I’m just a professional critic, my projects are way, way worst)

It sure was not for me, the minimalist / efficient modern take they went for, was the antithesis of my thoughts process. Good for portable devices is probably true, that’s why I couldn’t stand it on a desktop, it felt like it was meant to take over Android on tablets. it was a huge change.

I dropped gnome when they trashed the desktop for the new tablet like fad. Went to xfve, then mate, cinnamon, KDE… to me gnome with Compiz fusion was the pinnacle of desktops. I get why they wanted to start fresh, but it broke my perfect setup. I haven’t even bothered to look back since then, how did it evolve?

  • I love it. I’d get lots of exercise, enjoy a cool underground slide and fix the world. To make it really high output, you should ad a very large trap intake for the window users that will inevitably climb up to complain they can’t game on Linux. Now you are going to need lot of bait sentences that will trigger a Linux enthousiast. Here are some. ; > I wish I could apply all updates at a convenient time> or > I have these MRI image I want to look at> who has more?
